Looks like after 8 months, Rogers has decided to discontinue its pure Android experience phone the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It looks like its effective immediately and is now only available through Fido.

Many questions are swirling around on why Rogers has discontinued this beast Android phone. What I can speculate is due to the ongoing court case of Apple vs Samsung, it led to this drop out but the question remains on why Fido still gets to stock it. What we do know already that in the United States, Google Play has already pull its Galaxy Nexus off the shelves last month because of patent infringement.

Hopefully Rogers can come out and comment on the discontinue of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
